You know that cool book/movie/game/comic you like where the one guy/gal saves the day while everyone else watches? You know the movie Die Hard? John McClane sure is a cool dude (poor guy has broken glass all embedded in his feet, though... ). Well, the reason we love those stories is because it paints the fantasy of a lone wolf breaking away from the tribe and being 100% sustainable by themselves. We love that story because we know in our core that that isn't real. That's what makes those stories so fun and exciting.
